Groveland may be a small town but it makes a point to entertain visitors with some great events year round!

49er Festival and Chili Cook-Off

49er Festival and Chili Cook Off - This year the ever popular event will be Saturday September 20th, 2014.  Kids activities, exhibits, demonstrations and  a good time for all!!  Slight cost, at the park – Chili tasting kits, vendors with wares & food, dunk tank, kids games with prizes, live and silent auctions and so much more!!

Living History Day

Living History Day - This is an interactive living history day.  Attendees can participate in gold panning, candle dipping, weaving, spinning, quilting, rope making, pine needle basketry and butter churning.  As well, many activities will be demonstrated such as soap making, braiding rugs and early American hooking.  Crafts will be available for purchase by many participants!  Come enjoy the activities, food, music and storytelling.  It’s free admission and the whole family will have fun!  October 4, 2014 from 10am – 3pm in the Courtyard of the Groveland Yosemite National Park Gateway Museum in Downtown Groveland.

Mountain Sage Music Series

Mountain Sage Music Series - This music series begins May 17, 2014 and goes through August 16, 2014.  You can see a variety of bands and are guaranteed to hear some great music!  Bring a blanket or chairs for seating in the garden amphitheater, food and refreshments are available on site.  For more information on the bands, click here
